So I should probably be asleep right now, but unsurprisingly I just finished packing. EasyJet only mildly complicates one's life by enforcing a one SMALL carry-on item rule. Bah, oh well.
In 15 hours, I will be en route to the country of daisies(!!!!!!!!), Denmark. Although I am excited for the program and unknown adventures that lie ahead, I am a little anxious about traveling, adjusting, not getting lost, etc. And okay, so to be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about the idea of blogging, I mean, Mom, Dad (and Grandma and Grandpa) this is mostly for you guys haha, so I'll do my best to post regularly enough for you all to not worry about me.
I've kind of thought about what I'm looking forward to most this semester, but I really don't have a clue what to expect, so I guess the things I'm excited for are pretty broad.
Top Five Things I'm Looking Forward to:
1. MEETING SO MANY DIFFERENT PEOPLE
2. experiencing other cultures, languages, traditions
3. learning to draw blood and stitch people up!!
4. growing, expanding my world view
5. danishes and daisies :)
Cliche or not, I'm just excited to see, touch, taste (hear?)...READY to experience more of the world. And finally (since I'm wildly tired and should probably get some sleep), a nice comfort for me as I leave the wonderful USA...
